A warm West Coast welcome in Greymouth
Al and Rosies B+B is a quiet, homely bed and breakfast on Marlborough Street in Greymouth, with comfortable rooms, free private parking, fast free WiFi and a generous homemade breakfast every morning.

A peaceful home away from home
Our rooms are all new, with premium beds and linen, a private french door entrance, soundproofing throughout and a sunny, quiet feel that makes it easy to unwind after a long day of driving or walking. Everything is on the ground floor, the neighbourhood is a street of family homes, and the town centre is about five minutes away by car. Guests have their own space with a work desk, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee facilities and heating, plus access to the shared TV lounge whenever they feel like company.

Breakfast, made at home
Breakfast is the part guests remember. It is a big West Coast continental style spread, freshly prepared each morning with home baking, hearty cooked options and a Nespresso coffee machine, served in a relaxed setting where there is always time for a chat about where to go next. We both like to cook and bake with home produce, and we happily work around early starts, train departures and long driving days.
Hosted by Al and Rosie
We are usually at home during parts of the day, ready to greet you, show you around and help with travel questions. We have travelled through Europe ourselves and know how much difference a friendly welcome makes, so expect local knowledge, honest recommendations and a hand with your bags. A free shuttle service to the bus and railway station is available for guests who arrive without a car.
The West Coast, the way it used to be
The West Coast of New Zealand is how the world was in years gone by - people who will talk to you, help you, and a place without traffic problems. Greymouth sits right on the pebble beach coastline with a river running through it, and our street is a quiet one surrounded by family homes. It makes an easy, calm base for Punakaiki, the TranzAlpine railway, Hokitika, the glaciers and the cycle trails.
